(REVIEW): Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line Erasing Night Serum

ELIZABETH ARDEN RETINOL CERAMIDE CAPSULES

Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line-Erasing Night Serum

When Elizabeth Arden's Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum launched years back, I thought they were the bee's knees as the non-greasy capsules were lightweight, silky smooth, super hydrating and convenient for travelling as they take up zero space! Fast forward to Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line-Erasing Night Serum containing Retinol and Ceramides for moisture and we have a winning duo for a fab skincare routine; here's why I'm loving Elizabeth Arden's capsule newbies:

Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line-Erasing Night Serum

Retinol is a renowned ingredient in the beauty industry as it tackles the majority of skin concerns like pigmentation, sun damage, dullness, acne and enlarged pores. Retinol stimulates elasticity and flexibility, speeds up cell turnover, exfoliates the surface of the skin which in turn encourages a healthy glow for an even skin tone and most importantly, Retinol is a clinically proven wrinkle smoother.

If used incorrectly, Retinol can lead to dryness, irritation and redness but Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line-Erasing Night Serum has combined the sensitive Retinol molecule with Ceramides to maintain a moisture balance to prevent the drying effect of Retinol.

Why in capsule form?

Clinical tests have shown that the dose of Retinol remains 76% more potent in capsules than tubs of creams plus the shelf life is extended. Encapsulated delivers the perfect amount of Retinol with no chance of bacteria or contamination happening and best of all, the capsules are made from algae so are safe for the environment.

The capsules feel luxurious, lightweight and silky and are single use. After cleansing, twist the cap off and apply over the entire face and neck area, (there's enough in the capsule!) before your moisturiser. Remember to use a high SPF if using the serum in the morning, in fact applying suncream every single day is the best advice! Personally I only used the Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line-Erasing Night Serum at night and a different serum in the morning (the Ceramide Daily Youth Restoring capsules would be the next best thing!)

Have you tried these out and what are your thoughts?

That is it for a Monday morning - I hope your week is just fantabulous!!
