It feels like I've been waiting forever for this moment, where a change in the season means fresh crisp mornings, blossoming flowers and a surge of renewed energy. To celebrate spring's arrival I chose four fragrances that have floral and fruity notes to awaken the senses and put a spring in your step:
First up is Juicy Couture's latest addition VIVA LA JUICY SOIREE, with top fruity notes of kiwi, sparkling mandarin and cassis, a heart of feminine florals like Indian Sambac and Jasmine petals, mingled with waterlily. The dry-down contains sensual amber, musk and softwoods that gently envelop.

JIMMY CHOO FEVER was developed by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Honorine Blanc who say it's a 'strong, hot, floral fragrance, a bit sweet with a dark background.' It's classified as a floral gourmand fragrance and their aim was to create the ultimate scent for a woman who is effortlessly seductive and in charge of her destiny. Black plum nectar, litchee and grapefruit are top notes, with heliotrope at the heart, rounded off with glowing warm notes of sandalwood, roasted tonka bean and benzoin. Jimmy Choo's fragrances are always a win as they feel sexy and the scent is long-lasting and totally wearable.

I was smitten by the very first fragrance fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez brought out years ago, buying myself a second bottle as I loved it so much, (and I was getting a little self-conscious spritzing the tester every time I walked into Edgars at the Waterfront!). The latest fragrance is called Rouge and once again I'm a big fan.
It's a floral, woody musk with top notes of sensual iris and heady rose with a heart of musk (a note Narciso uses across all of his fragrances). At the base, tonka beans give depth and vetiver lends an earthy appeal. It definitely appeals to the seductive, sensual and mysterious senses and I love it!

ELIE SAAB GIRL OF NOW SHINE is the latest pillar fragrance of Elie Saab's (I reviewed the original earlier, which you can read here). Many of the original notes from Elie Saab's Girl of Now are included like Lebanese delights of roasted pistachio and almonds for a seductive nutty twist. Floral notes of ylang-ylang, iris, jasmine and patchouli add depth; pear and pineapple create a lighter version in the top notes making for an addictive summer fragrance.
