FRAGRANCE REVIEW: Montblanc Lady Emblem Elixir EDP

MONT BLANC LADY EMBLEM ELIXIR EDP

HIGH NOTES

With the change of seasons it's always a good idea (or excuse!) to change your fragrances for warmer and deeper notes and the new Montblanc Lady Emblem Elixir EDP is well worth a try.

This is a bolder version of the original Montblanc Lady Emblem EDP, which I thought was a perfect daytime fragrance, as it contained sweet floral and fruity notes like raspberry, redcurrant and peach, combined with sandalwood, patchouli and rosewood. Montblanc Lady Emblem Elixir has contrasting notes yet very complementary, a dash of a rebel streak underneath her sophisticated facade!

The scent opens up with fresh mandarin and sweet litchi, dispersed with orange blossom, jasmine and gentle damask rose notes at the heart; finishing with a trail of warm and sensual sandalwood, patchouli and (my favourite note), vanilla. It's not overbearing and comes across as a feminine and elegant scent which lingers beautifully on your skin.

Now how lovely is this rose gold metal bottle? It's inspired by the 43-faceted cut of a Montblanc diamond and the crystal like lid has the Montblanc emblem engraved in it, making this a bottle a must have and to hold!
