Inspired by Hollywood divas of yesteryear, Bvlgari's new fragrance collection, Splendida, aims to reflect the glamourous era of semi-goddesses like Monica Vitti, Audrey Hepburn and Ingrid Bergman.
The trio include Bvlgari Splendida Iris D'or EDP, Bvlgari Splendida Rose Rose EDP and Bvlgari Splendida Jasmin Noir EDP, a fresh interpretation on Bvlgari's iconic Bvlgari's pour Femme (launched 1994), Rose Essentielle (2005) and Jasmin Noir (2008). Developed by the esteemed perfumer, Sophie Labbe, where "the idea was to transform the original fragrances that have been in the market for more than 20 years. It was really to keep the identity of these fragrances and magnify their beauty in different ways". The emphasis on the newer versions is to reinforce their intensity thanks to new techniques of extraction for higher concentration.

One spritz and you're transported to a garden of heavenly blooming roses on a hot summer's day, (and we're not talking granny fuddy duddy wafts of roses, but deep and hearty notes that make for a romantic and sumptuous floral-rose fragrance). Mandarin and blackberry keep it modern and fresh, with a fusion of warm and earthy patchouli Vetiver and Sandalwood notes at its base.

Described as a floral woody oriental bouquet, I have my heart set on this one! The heady exoticness of gardenia and sweet smelling ultra sensual jasmine, some of my favourite flowers, are in the top notes, with milky almond balancing the heart; woody facets of patchouli, sandalwood and cashmeran keep it grounded. A warm, sensual and enchanting scent which I'll be wearing throughout winter!
