Every time I've met the stylish and elegant Jackie Burger, I have been at a loss for words, (yes, this is possible for me), a starstruck girl meeting her girl crush! Former editor of SA's ELLE magazine, now owner of a new style venture, SALON58 , a collaborative space where fashion, inspiration, styles and aspirations can be shared with other women. Classic and timeless with a twist; a dose of daring and a love of vintage finds.

HEELS OR FLATS?

Both… Sadly practicality is overtaking my love for heels and flats are starting to reign my shoe collection.

YOUR BIGGEST EXTRAVAGANCE?

I don't really have an articulated extravagance and view perceived luxuries as humble necessities to live a soulful life – mine will include handmade soaps & candles; artisanal coffee & chocolate and abundant flowers.

YOUR BEAUTY ESSENTIALS?

My signature MAC Russian Red lipstick

Groomed nails

I opted to age naturally and regular facials are non negotiable

Late afternoon champers, cake and sisterhood.

Our 10th soirèe #Cycles on the 26th of August celebrates Women's Day and explores the notion of "Every next level of your life will demand a different version of you" - giving context to the stages of womanhood and the challenges as well as the rewards we encounter. The day will include style and beauty workshops, insightful conversations and a celebratory lunch.

My style coaching sessions are very close to my heart and very personalised. It starts with a one on one conversation honing a true and honoured understanding of my client's dreams, fears and goals.
